At Myer Hospitality, I serve as the sole Graphic Designer, crafting a broad spectrum of print and digital media to support a diverse portfolio of brands. My responsibilities include designing five magazine publications that spotlight local businesses, restaurants, attractions, and shows, as well as creating marketing materials such as brochures, rack cards, ads, and billboards for our hotels and partner companies. Each project is guided by strict branding standards, ensuring a cohesive visual identity across all platforms.
Our organization manages a vast network of more than a dozen social media platforms and operates a variety of businesses, including Tripium, Branson Restaurants, The Vacation Channel, and the travel sites iBranson.com and BransonMissouri.com. In addition, Myer Hospitality owns and operates four premier hotels: Comfort Inn at Thousand Hills, Comfort Inn & Suites Branson Meadows, Holiday Inn Express Green Mtn. Drive, and Best Western Center Pointe Inn. My role encompasses supporting these businesses through innovative design and strategic branding, contributing to their growth and success in the hospitality and tourism industry.
Branson is a vibrant hub of tourism, offering visitors a wide array of attractions, from live shows and unique shopping experiences to diverse restaurants and thrilling activities. At Myer Hospitality, we provide advertising opportunities tailored to local businesses, helping them connect with tourists and locals through our curated publications. These materials serve as essential guides, inspiring readers to explore and experience everything Branson has to offer.
As the sole Graphic Designer at Myer Hospitality, I modernized and elevated the design of these publications to captivate audiences and enhance their engagement. By creating visually appealing layouts and cohesive branding, I ensure our magazines effectively highlight the best of Branson, fostering connections between local businesses and their audiences.

PUBLICATIONS

The Dining Passport!

I also designed and produced The Dining Passport, an annual coupon book featuring 40+ restaurant deals and over $800 in savings, created specifically for Branson locals. The booklet was fully perforated for easy tear-out coupons and thoughtfully laid out for a clean, user-friendly experience. I also contributed to updating the website and promoted the project through engaging Facebook posts and targeted ads to drive local interest and sales..

I've revitalized the design approach for Myer Hotels, introducing a contemporary aesthetic by embracing clean layouts, purposeful white space, and design principles that emphasize hierarchy and focus. Encouraging my team to embrace a "less is more" philosophy, I aim to create visually engaging and effective materials that resonate with our audience.

Email Marketing That Connects and Converts

Myer Hospitality recently began implementing email campaigns to connect with thousands of customers about our hotels, ticketing services, and other affiliated businesses. I worked closely with the marketing team to create a variety of emails—from seasonal promotions to personal messages like holiday thank-yous. Even as we were learning a new platform, we consistently saw strong results.

Each campaign was thoughtfully designed to fit its purpose—whether that meant driving clicks or simply keeping our brand top-of-mind. Our focus was always to make every email count by balancing strategy, design, and timing to keep our message engaging and relevant in people’s inboxes.

Media Kit Redesign – Marketing Programs

One of my most challenging projects was redesigning the media kits for our Branson marketing programs for Shows, Attractions, and Restaurants. The original format had outdated tier structures split between online and offline options.

My boss wanted to modernize this into four unified levels combining both types of exposure. I took that loose concept and transformed it into clear, organized, and visually appealing media kits. I streamlined the layout, introduced a clean color scheme, and used high-quality mockups to make the offerings easy to understand and more professional.

Once the media kits were finalized, I created detailed spec sheets for each key deliverable in the participant packages—from ad sizes to enhanced listings and banner ads. I also managed incoming artwork, sent out proofs, tracked approvals, and ensured all deadlines were met. It was a big-picture project that required both creative and logistical follow-through.

At Myer Hospitality, one of my key responsibilities is creating digital content for social media across more than a dozen affiliated businesses. I design all creative assets and write captions for each post, collaborating with our marketing team to plan campaign timing, placements, and paid promotions.
From seasonal promotions to year-round branding, I plan, schedule, and analyze content to boost engagement and visibility.

Lights of Joy
(Oct. 2024 - Jan. 2025)

For Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru, I transformed our short holiday advertising window into a high-impact campaign. My content strategy delivered measurable results in visibility, engagement, and web traffic. By targeting and boosting our festive posts, we were able to reach both locals and tourists to drive ticket sales.

The Dining Passport!
(Apr. 2024 - May 2025)

Strong year-round visibility and conversion — this account steadily gained traction and drove consistent interest in a local coupon program. I boosted engagement by consistently sharing clear, compelling content that helped  local Branson residents understand the value of the Dining Passport. By creating bold designs, highlighting offers, and pushing limited-time deals, I maintained interest and encouraged clicks and conversions.

Holiday Inn Express
(Apr. 2024 - May 2025)

Despite lower engagement metrics, this campaign demonstrated significant growth in web traffic and followers, highlighting the power of strategic messaging and consistent branding. I used Holiday Inn’s strict brand guidelines to craft visually polished content, paired with seasonal promotions and event-based messaging that captured attention and drove real interest in bookings.

As the one and only graphic designer at Myer Hospitality, I oversee a wide range of creative projects that span multiple mediums. From billboards and newspaper ads to social media content and media kits, I juggle numerous responsibilities while collaborating closely with the Vice President of Marketing and the Marketing Administrator. Balancing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment keeps me constantly engaged and driven to improve. While the workload can be demanding, I thrive on the challenge—always finding innovative solutions and delivering fresh, impactful designs that elevate our brand every day.
